2008: A postal survey of Waikawa Beach residents to provide a profile of occupancy and travel patterns and to identify issues and residents’ views on future development. This survey was undertaken for the Waikawa Beach Ratepayers Association as baseline data for submissions to the Horowhenua District Council on proposed subdivisions and plan changes.

Social and Economic Benefits of Community Care Programmes
2007: A review of the social and economic benefits of two St John community care programmes: Friends of the Emergency Department and Caring Caller. The review was based on qualitative information gained from a series of in-depth interviews undertaken in four locations in New Zealand where both programmes are operating. Interviews were held with a range of people involved in the programme and benefiting from the programme, including St John staff, volunteers and clients, hospital staff, and representatives from social service agencies. Findings from the review are contained in a report entitled "More than Friendship: the social and economic benefits of community care programmes".
Evaluation of Community Housing Aotearoa Incorporated
2007: An evaluation of Community Housing Aotearoa Incorporated (CHAI) to determine the extent to which CHAI has made progress in developing its capacity and the infrastructure required to support an effective and efficient community housing sector. Housing New Zealand commissioned the evaluation as the organisation that has funded CHAI since its establishment in 2004. An appreciative inquiry approach was undertaken for the evaluation - an approach that is based on identifying and building upon the current strengths of a programme or organisation.
Review of community halls owned by the Hutt City Council
2007: This review was undertaken in response to Hutt City Council's concern that their aging halls were no longer meeting the needs of their local communities. The review takes six halls as a sample and after an indepth analysis of each concludes that locally-based community halls play an important role in strengthening communities. The report outlines a range of options for governance, funding and structural changes for each of the six halls and recommends changes to the way Hutt City currently manages and supports these facilities.
World Wild fund for Nature
2007: An assessment of the Social and Economic Benefits of Community-led environmental restoration projects for WWF. This study involved an indepth analysis of three environmental projects funded in part by the Habitat protection Fund administered by WWF. The three projects were the Yellow-Eyed Penguin Trust, te Rangitahi o te Whenua Trust and Whaingaroa Harbour Care. The report identified a wide range of social and economic benefits accruing from these three projects and supports these finding with a literature review of other studies on the socio-economic impacts of environmental restoration projects.
Housing New Zealand Corporation
2007: HNZC's Community Renewal Programme - comprises six projects around New Zealand. The evaluation is based on a cluster group approach involving HNZC staff, tenants and representatives from partner organisations. Dianne Buchan managed the evaluation project team which comprises staff from Connell Wagner Ltd and Michelle Rush Consulting.
2006: The research project comprised a literature review of existing research and evaluation that describes and discusses the benefits of the types of housing interventions provided by Housing New Zealand.

MAF
Report on bridging the gap between environmental knowledge and research, and desired environmental outcomes to achieve sustainable land management. This was a two-year project undertaken with Nimmo-Bell & Company and Massey University. Corydon's role was to undertake a review of behaviour change theory and educational approaches for voluntary and regulatory based change to sustainable land management. This research includes factors commonly identified as important components of any policy or programme aimed at bringing about changes to land management. It also identifies barriers to behaviour change.
